The B, C# and Eb on the staff are notes you can ‘fake’ by lipping. The C# is really a flat D, with my trumpets the F hole (thumb) is positioned to give an F, when using this hole for the D only open it a little (unless playing passing semiquavers) otherwise if fully open it is flat. Some other instruments have the F hole positioned so the F and D are equally ‘out’.
Good luck – may be easier than the 3 hole
